Marathon hits the road with country superstar Thomas Rhett for a summer to remember!
Marathon retail brand is proud to be back on tour with multi-platinum country artist Thomas Rhett as the official fuel sponsor of his BETTER IN BOOTS TOUR. Now in its third year, the partnership is powering a 30-city tour with a fleet of Fueled by Marathon-branded trucks, rolling nearly 30,000 miles across North America and turning heads every mile of the way.

That connection is on full display as the BETTER IN BOOTS TOUR continues to draw large crowds, including a sold-out show at Boston’s Fenway Park. Rhett is also riding high on the charts, with All The Bars Are Closed becoming his 24th No. 1 in August.
The tour, produced by Live Nation, kicked off June 5 in Rogers, Arkansas, and features Tucker Wetmore with special guests The Castellows or Dasha. It supports Rhett’s latest album, ABOUT A WOMAN, called “his best work yet” by Country Living and “a feel-good celebration of love” by Grammy.com.
Beyond fueling the journey, Marathon is amplifying the partnership through an integrated marketing campaign with iHeartRadio, including:
- Radio + Digital: Song tags on iHeartCountry stations, live reads from local talent, and a two-week media plan across broadcast, streaming, podcast, and digital
- Social Media: Co-branded content and Instagram story promotions from Thomas Rhett
- In-Venue Presence: Digital screens encouraging fans to join Marathon Rewards and unlock exclusive tour-related offers
- Marathon Rewards Integration: Marathon is leveraging the tour to increase awareness of its industry-leading loyalty program, Marathon ARCO Rewards. Members earn at least 5¢ per gallon on every fill-up and can earn additional Rewards on qualifying in-store purchases. Rewards can be redeemed to save up to $1 per gallon on fuel.
Promotional offers tied to the tour include:
- Earn 25¢/gal in Rewards through a bonus offer promoted at the tour kickoff
- Earn 10¢/gal in Rewards with a special promo code for in-venue fans
- A special charity match held on May 26 supported K9s For Warriors, highlighted by a message from Thomas Rhett
